This is a newly made Clarke Buehling minstrel banjo.  Walnut neck carved in a Buehlingesque minstrel style. Scale length approx. 26".  12" oak rim stained a dark walnut brown.  The hardware is hand forged by a blacksmith in Arkansas.  Wonderful wrap around style brackets and a very nicely made heavy tension band crafted from mild steel.  Clarke states that the hardware on this banjo is what provides the amazing tone to the instrument.  Bone tailpiece. Heavy Chris Sands strings.  Walnut bridge. Boucher style ebony pegs.  A truely unique banjo made by one of the world's most recognized minstrel and rag time banjoists.
